The Rosebud Retreat was the perfect stay for us! We were in town to visit family and the property was within easy walking distance to everything we wanted or needed. The neighborhood is friendly and beautiful! The home is cozy and super clean with comfortable beds and interesting artwork. Extra points for wonderful outdoor seating and books galore for the avid reader. We really enjoyed our stay and you will as well!

Scott and Taryn’s are amazing and their home was beautiful!! My daughters and I came to Charlotte to visit friends and have a weekend getaway from Houston. I didn’t want to leave the house! It was so warm and welcoming! The natural light and the great neighborhood- I could live there forever! Can’t wait to come back to Charlotte and book again!!

Amazing stay! The spot was exactly as described and worked wonderfully for us. The property was super cozy, and we were within minutes of many awesome restaurants and bars. As for general Charlotte, it's ideally centralized. Top notch stay and highly recommended!

Scott and Taryn provided the perfect getaway for us as we set out to explore the beautiful city of charlotte. Overall everything was as expected and the surrounding neighborhoods were peaceful and filled with many local shops and restaurants. The rosebud cottage was the perfect size for us and offered everything we needed for our stay including proximity to other locations and areas within charlotte. I highly recommend staying with Scott and Taryn if you plan on taking a trip to North Carolina. They were extremely receptive and even were able to offer us an earlier check in time since they had the availability that day. If we plan on visiting charlotte in the future, the rosebud cottage will be at the top of our list of places to stay. Thank you again Scott and Taryn!

The Rosebud Retreat was just what we were looking for! Cute cottage feel with quirky and artistic details, this house easily accommodated 5 adults and was in a perfect location. The Plaza Midwood neighborhood is walkable, beautiful, and close to a very happening restaurant scene. This house also has some very nice porch and outdoor areas in which to hang out. Taryn was very communicative and responsive as a host and we had zero issues. would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed here on other trips and intend to return for my next visit to Charlotte. The location in Plaza Midwood is perfect for walking, outdoor cafes, coffee & pastries, restaurants, and entertainment... all the things. Also, it is close to Uptown and all that has to offer. On this trip, I attended a concert at Ovens Auditorium very close by.
Scott & Taryn continue to be great hosts. Thank you!

Awesome little bungalow really with a short walk to get to the Plaza area. Plenty to do for a night in (books, records, puzzles) and a beautiful outdoor space. We loved the theme and will definitely be back!

This cottage was absolutely adorable. It was clean and well appointed. It is in a quiet, safe area that is walkable to the Plaza restaurants and bars. It’s an easy Uber to Uptown or the Music Factory. Scott and Taryn were great at communicating and supplying recommendations. This is a great cottage and hope to return next time in Charlotte!

Scott and Taryn’s location is as pictured. Very comfortable, homey place.Scott and Taryn were proactive with communication, recommendations and step-by-step instructions for checking-in and out. I never had to reach out asking questions because Scott and Taryn were so thorough. Location was great, not far at all from Downtown. Cute little neighborhood. Felt safe. If I ever make it back to Charlotte, I hope to have Scott and Taryn as my hosts again.

This was an amazing stay . I had a wonderful time . It’s a very private and cozy space. The decor is really beautiful and thoughtful . It felt like a very intimate stay . I would definitely recommend.
